Data we collect
When you purchase a Personal Pet Travel Plan, we collect the information you provide in the order form: your departure country, destination country, airline preference, pet type, pet breed, and travel date. We also collect your email address for plan delivery and order confirmation.
We do not collect payment card data. Payment is processed by Gumroad Inc., which operates under its own privacy policy.
When you browse the free reference database, we do not require registration and do not collect personal data beyond standard server logs.
How we use your data
We use your data solely to prepare and deliver your Personal Pet Travel Plan. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties, except to Gumroad Inc. for payment processing.
We may send email reminders related to your travel plan deadlines if you have provided your email address and travel date. You may opt out at any time by contacting info@pettravelrules.com.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the basis of contractual necessity, as processing is required to deliver the service you have purchased. This basis applies under Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data retention
We retain order data for a maximum of 12 months following delivery of your plan. After this period, personal data is deleted unless retention is required by applicable law.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Espanola de Proteccion de Datos (AEPD), at www.aepd.es.
