Given when the dog is at least 12 weeks old.
Drawn no earlier than 30 days after the rabies vaccination, sent to an EU-approved laboratory.
The lab result must show adequate rabies antibodies.
Starts from the day the blood was drawn, not the day you get the result.
Only after that three-month wait can your dog travel back into Great Britain without quarantine. Tapeworm treatment is also required for dogs, given no less than 24 hours and no more than 5 days before arrival.
